A photo of an early morning sunrise, taken by the artist, was the inspiration for this textile piece. It is the view from the artist's front porch at Lac Le Jeune BC, where she lived for ten years.

This piece was juried into the LET THE SUN SHINE IN SAQA Regional (NC/VA) exhiibit. It also received a first place award for Art Quilts at the 2022 Smoky Mountain Quilters Quilt Show.
