During times of adapting to unexpected change, one of our greatest strengths is insight and self awareness. Recognizing the parts of ourselves that have been hidden; working through the process of facing them despite feeling lost; and finally finding acceptance and joy in embracing who we are and what we truly value. Materials/ techniques used include cotton, organza, netting, wide variety of threads; applique, free-motion stitching. Currently touring as part of the Textile and Fibre Artists of Manitoba Shifting Perspective exhibit.
