Rupert and his Brother Waiting for Gladys evolved from a vintage black and white
photograph. What intrigued me were the differences between the two men, and
speculation about why these two men were together in a photograph. I chose the colours,
materials, and scenic details that I felt suited each man and the vintage nature of the
setting.
