I used a purchased package of silk fabrics to experiment in working with silk and with curved piecing. I used lightweight iron-on interfacing to stabilize the silk fabric. The silk gives a real lustre to this wall hanging.

Materials: Silk fabric and silk batting.

Techniques: Machine pieced and free motion quilting.
