All  my female family members have sewn and done handwork. This piece showcases my maternal grandmother wearing the hand embroidered "collar", that is featured beside her. Then there is my mother beside  a hand made bady dress that she wore. Then me, with two baby dresses that had been made for me. Final photo is my second daughter ,Heather, with a hand made sweater that she wore as a baby. All of  us continued  to sew during our lifetimes. In the background are various needlework pieces made by all of us at some time other!
