Bio:

Coreen’s work leans towards a realistic vision. She is constantly experimenting to incorporate reality tnto her pieces through “thread painting”.

Coreen is a member of several art galleries, SAQA, FAN, CQA, and Federation of Canadian Artists.

Ovefr the past 20 years , as a highly regarded Fibre Artist and mentor,she has taught her techniques extensively on Vancouver Island as well as across Canada, and she has judged many shows on Vancouver Island.

Coreen;s pieces are displayed throughout North America, won numerous major awards, and have been juried into many Fibre art Exhibitions ne of which was “Best of Country” at the World’ Competition. She was chosen to exhibit at the Shelbourne Museum in 2008 as well as one of the top 40 Canadian fibre artists represented at a show in Paduah, Kentucky. She has many pieces in private collestions.

Her Landscape commissions include 5 large landscape pieces for the Anglican Church in Lantzville, B.C.,a Treescape for the Province of B.C., as well as a Very large piece in 2022 for the City of Lacombe, Alberta..
