Canadian textile artist Gloria S. Daly lives and works in the Cowichan valley on Vancouver Island. She studied with the Canadian Assoc. of Embroidery, City & Guilds, UK in Design & Embroidery and The Embroiders Guild of America,Inc. Exhibiting in numerous group shows across Canada,France, Japan, UK, and the USA as well as several solo exhibitions.

Gloria’s work is labour intensive, complex, and beautiful, notable for the amount of hand stitching. The sense of touch and a profound sense of observation show her passion for her subject matter. Slow Stitch allows for mindful and complative works of art.
