Janet Harper came to textile art after a long fascination with the colour and texture of fabric, yarn and thread. Her work is inspired by geometry, nature, dreams, formal artistic challenges and the work of others. Her pieces are primarily pieced using recycled fabrics and/or miles of threads. Each piece is a learning experience and an opportunity for growth.
