What if, how can I, and what next are three of my favourite questions. I work at the intersection between organic creativity, garment construction, quilting, and surface design.

My process is to work intuitively allowing the piece to develop step-by-step, responding to what is in front of me, pulling from my toolbox of techniques. I am attracted to bits and pieces of potential and fascinated by the many ways to fill the same form.

In early 2022, I began focusing on one-at-a-time, one-of-a-kind art bags applying the textile techniques I know and want to develop to that blank canvas. It feels like this may lead me in the direction of other three-dimensional forms. I happiest when in my studio making.
