Pamala is a multidisciplinary, intuitive artist based on Saturna Island, rich with natural inspiration. She utilizes fabric, abstract watercolour, sketching and stitch to communicate ideas and concepts to the viewer. As an artist, she listens to her inner voice and responds intuitively. She’s a tactile artist and her art will often incorporate texture as part of her finished work. When exploring the island, she often brings home gifts from the sea and land that speaks to her with no idea how it may fit into her art. One of her goals is to create art that invites the viewer to interpret their response. She’s surrounds herself with like minded artists who are a great inspiration.
