Textiles and I have always been good friends. From the time I was a young woman, colour has played a part in what I create whether as a handwoven garment or a piece of art to hang on the wall. Building layers with any substrate that can be stitched down is what I love.  Shape, curvy lines, circles, anything to convey my image which is often in my head. The art I produce now is made with my hand dyed textiles, cotton, linen, silk, paper.
