Having been a sewer of all things clothing since childhood, I entered the quilting world in 2003, and learned as much as I could before discovering a new passion, painting with thread.

My first foray into fabric art occurred  in 2017 when I read about Coreen Zerr who would be presenting her thread painting technique at the next Quilt Canada, which, unfortunately, was over. I was hooked. I contacted Coreen and she informed me she was hosting one final thread painting class before she retired. I went, and the rest as they say is history..
