Celebrating 50 years of marriage inspired this piece. Butterfly fish mate for life and survive storms and various threats. These Raccoon butterfly fish have strong graphic lines which they use to find each other in murky waters. Circles and lines in nature always inspire me. Images were hand drawn and transfer printed onto polyester satin which was hand stitched.
