Circles and Lines

I made this abstract piece while investigating materials, wet-felting wool roving and locks with silk fibres and cotton gauze. An effervescence of bubbles, ripples and curls emerged, with the cut edges revealing the layers of fibre. Glass beads were stitched to complement the shapes and the sheen of the silk.
