Pathways

My quilting journey over the last 20 years has introduced me to many of the stunning textiles to come out of Africa. Most recently I visited Ghana for the first time, where I met several Kente weavers and saw them at work. This piece is inspired by and includes a strip of Kente made by Eric Boateng. The work of Ghanaian painter Ablade Glover was also influential.
