The Shape of Things to Come

From before the time of Stonehenge, the circle has gathered people together. The circle is found in the art of every culture and time. It is no wonder that I was drawn to the radiating circles created in this tie-dyed jacquard cloth from Africa. What could I add to this ancient shape? My energy, my time, my own shape. My shape was created by visualizing my breath coming in and out as I connected to the earth. The colours of the shape change to echo the rings of the tie-dyed cloth as my energy flows from inside myself to the green earth around me into the deep, dark blues of outer space beyond my imaginings.
