Abstracted

Canadian pianist Glenn Gould is world renowned for his mastery of the piano, particularly his interpretations of the music of J.S. Bach. He is just as well known for wearing gloves and choosing an old chair over a standard piano bench when he played. Using paint, fabric, and thread, I interpreted "The Real Glenn Gould" from a photograph of Glenn Gould by Ormond Gigli (used with permission).
