Abstracted

The eccentric Pianist Glenn Gould in the abstract. Glenn Gould, the iconic Canadian pianist, is probably as well known for his eccentricities as for his mastery of the piano particularly his interpretations of the music of J.S. Bach. Incorporating some of the same fabrics used by Jenny Perry in her realistic portrait, I have portrayed Glenn Gould abstractedly by creating a flowing musical background and including a keyboard and the characteristic fingerless gloves unique to this man all of which should make him easily recognizable to the viewer.
