Making Light

I began this piece with a devore scarf that I designed and dyed. To the
original creation, I have added a layer of silk screening and embellished
the piece with metal, beads and machine embroidery. As I created this work,
I felt in turmoil as I was in the process of hanging an exhibition. It
seemed like my life was chaotic and that I kept going in circles. The
bright gold means that I am starting to emerge into a better place.
