I AM . . .

There was a time when I was carried everywhere. I was warm, safe, well fed, entertained and loved. I was happy. My world was bright and shiny. I smiled and everyone smiled back at me.
A walk along the ocean on a warm, sunny fall day with my grand nephew and his parents inspired this piece. I choose to be happy. We can all make that choice.
