20/20 Vision

Two of my grandchildren sitting on the dock at the family cottage, contemplating the serene lake spread out in front of them. Brother and sister, in quiet companionship. How often does that happen? I looked at this picture, taken by their mother, Jen Carlson, and saw the next generation with a future of enjoying this scenic site that has been in the family for some years. I can also see how important it is to maintain the natural world around us. It is threatened from so many directions. Will it look like this when these two are adults?
