From Away

Each year over 3000 Trumpeter Swans are attracted by the natural wetlands and abundance of farm land in the Comox Valley of Vancouver Island, BC and stop here on their way south from the Queen Charlotte Islands to set up their winter residents. These graceful creatures are a welcome sight as only 40 years ago only 3 visitors were recorded when the species was at its most vulnerable status.
