On the Wind Travelling Exhibit

While traveling through the high plains of the Midwest during summer harvest season I was struck by the intense dryness of the region the abandoned home sites often marked by a still standing windmill and the intense colours of the sunset viewed through the dust of the harvest. Kansas Sunset captures my intense reaction to the region, its history of drought and dependence on nature - in this case especially wind and rain.
