Gathering Light 2025 - Artwork Exchange

Inspired by the textile artistry of Itchiku Kubota this kimono is kissed by golden light suggesting the birth of a sun star. Having had the opportunity to visit his museum and see his kimono in person I am in awe. It brought tears to my eyes.
