Fibrescapes

The view of Lake Okanagan from the Naramata beach is etched into my memory. I have been traveling to Naramata BC every summer for 20 years. Naramata " Smile of the Sun. It is such a special place for me. How fortunate to have this opportunity to reproduce that view using my hand painted shibori fabrics. The addition of hand stitching added texture as well as the chance to stitch contemplatively on this landscape artwork.
