Making Light

Courtney Milne took a photograph of light being filtered through the trees that I felt I just had to interpret in fibre and machine embroidery. The rays were sparkling their way down to the earth, making the forest dance. Tiny bits of fabric, including metallics, were completely stitched over by machine.
