Fibrescapes

In the centre of Winnipeg there is a wonderful park and in that park there is a magnificent lily pond. Each year I visit and draw and take photographs to try to portray these exotic looking flowers. This was an exercise in showing the brilliance of the water lilies with the strength and subtlety of the reflections in the darkened water of the pond.
