I like to play with colour, imagery and pattern in fabrics. I also hate to throw away scrap pieces of cotton, especially if they have fusible on the back of them. After saving these for years, I challenged myself to create a landscape. I had no plan, no pattern. I just fussy cut a bit, and created on a foundation cloth. I did not use any batting. Once I was happy with the piece, I free-form thread-painted it.
