Ekphrastic

A woman looks dreamily out a window seeing piles of dry colourful leaves, a few signs of life--a fly hovering on the windowsill and two ladybirds who soon will have to take shelter for the coming winter. October is a time to relect on the season past and the one to come. And it wouldn't be October without a pumpkin.
