Altered Shapes

This piece began as comfort food -- exploring a favourite block, colours and shapes. Only after completion was it evident that this piece had become an autobiographical statement. Since my husband became ill my life has become fractured and no longer fits together as it should. Just as Peter robs from Paul, so has cancer robbed from us.
