Lumination

Moonlight etches cresting waves with luminous green in this tribute to a perfect tropical evening. A sheltered beach at Pokai Bay on the leeward side of Oahu is far from city lights. The Big Dipper hangs upside down, glittering with a few hand stitches added to seven specially placed crystals. Quilted details add to the story. A multitude of five-pointed stars fill the sky. Hidden turtle eggs nestle in the dark
sand. Human footprints disappear into the sea. This is a postcard to me as a
reminder of a wonderful womens retreat weekend during a year in Hawaii.
