Ekphrastic

My practise explores meditative hand stitching/mark making, these accumulate, building the story, responding to me interpretation: Seasonal Affect by Lydia Kwa.Anguished affects climb seeking the light. An old woolen blanket references the never ending routine of seasonal coastal weather, one day dull the next overcast with rain. Shadows seep into our soul.
