Waterworks

A beautiful but mysterious secret garden with a fish pond is hidden behind the iron fence. My garden is a collage of oriental cotton fabrics that I machine stitched randomly. I knew I wanted a fence but the construction left me puzzled. I almost threw the whole composition away a few time. Finally I figured out to get the raised fence, I would have to make casings with light batting inside. Then the piece came to life. It seems to be that when a piece really pushes you creativity, the resulting art work is one of your best works.
