Circles and Lines

By using layers of dye with clamp and pole wrapping resists, a complex cloth emerged. The lines reminded me of the marks revealed on the sandy shore of the Salish Sea at low tide. I responded to the lines with circle shapes, embroidery stitches and machine quilted line work.
