Fibrescapes

In the Museum of Man and Nature in Winnipeg, Manitoba there is a display of a prairie plant with roots that are over ten feet long as they search through the earth to find water. I have attempted to produce that feeling as the long roots of the plant seek their way through the many layers of soil, sediment and rock in their never ending search for sustenance.
