Welcome to the 2026 FAN Conference!
Registration Deadline: July 31st, 2026
There is a 3-part registration process including conference registration, hotel reservation and art exchange entry. We must have at least 30 registrants by March 31st, 2026 to proceed. Please register early!
Part A – Conference Registration
Please register by filling out the online form below. If you have difficulty using the form please send your information to: fanconfevenyr@gmail.com. After July 31st, 2026 please contact: fanconfevenyr@gmail.com to confirm space availability.
Conference Dates: Thursday, August 20th, 2026 (3pm) until Sunday, August 23rd, 2026 before lunch.
The conference registration fee is $900 per person. This includes all meals and gratuities, meeting rooms, conference program, and transportation to scheduled events only. You are responsible for getting to/from the conference hotel. Refunds are not available for the conference registration fee unless we do not meet our minimum number of participants. You are encouraged to purchase travel insurance to cover your costs should you be unable to attend.
Payment is requested at the time of registration by etransfer to fibreartnetwork.treasurer@gmail.com.

Part B – Hotel Reservations
When booking a reservation, please contact the Explorer Hotel using the email or phone number listed below and mention the group code. Please reserve your room before June 30th, 2026 directly with the hotel:

Explorer Hotel check in is 3:00 pm, check out is 11:00 am. The conference starts on Thursday, August 20th, 2026 with registration from 2:00 to 5:00 pm and dinner/evening program and ends before lunch on Sunday, August 23гd, 2026.
The conference hotel rate is $277.95 per day, this includes all taxes and GST. At this time the only type of rooms available are king beds as all the queen beds are pre-booked by Aurora viewing tour companies but the hotel expects queen rooms will become available. If you wish to share a room with 2 queen beds contact the hotel 3 weeks prior to the start of the conference and they may have rooms available then.
If you would like to stay additional nights before or after the conference at the conference rate please book using the group code. Check with the hotel re cancellation policy.
The Explorer Hotel has a policy that any alcohol in public places (e.g. dining are, etc.) must be purchased from the hotel. You may, however, consume your own alcohol in your rooms.
There is a free shuttle service from the airport to the Explorer Hotel. Free parking is available at the hotel.
If you need to find a roommate, send an email request via fibreartnetwork@googlegroups.com to identify another conference attendee looking for a roommate.
Part C – Art Exchange

There is no fee to enter the art exchange.
Financial Support: FAN has limited financial assistance for anyone who would have a difficult time attending the conference without it. Contact FAN treasurer, Terry Aske, at fibreartnetwork.treasurer@gmail.com. Inquiries are confidential. Inquiries are confidential. Requests must be submitted by May 31st, 2026.
Membership Name Tags: Please bring your name tags with you as new ones will not be issued. If you have lost your name tag a new one can be made for you at a cost of $10.00. Members who attend the conference who have never received a name tag, will be issued one. Please let Gisela Carroll membershipfan@gmail.com know prior to the conference.
