September is coming and so is our annual conference. There are still a few rooms available but only until July 5th. That is our deadline for those wishing to have accommodation at the conference hotel. After that date the reserved rooms are released to the hotel for the general public. You may still register to attend the conference by August 15th but it will be as a “walk in”. Final possible date to register for the conference is August 15th.
Now to the money part. Your first payment installment is due June 15th. You may choose to pay via e-transfer: fibreartnetwork.treasurer@gmail.com

In case you have forgotten the amount for the first installment, here are the numbers: Private room: $580, Shared room: $397.50, Walk in: $242.50. The second installment will be due August 15th . We had hoped to be able to reduce the amount on the second payment but unfortunately not possible. The second installment will be the same as the first installment.
We hope to see you at the conference. There is a wonderful line up of speakers with a variety of presentations as well as our keynote speakers: Lyric Kinnard and Maggie Vanderviet. Come and meet your fellow FAN members in person and share your passion for textile art.

I just submitted my Art Exchange piece. The size in inches is 10 x 10, but the entry insisted that I could not enter a depth less than 1 inch and my piece is a simple quilt depth. I hope that doesn’t confuse people. Can’t wait to see all the Art Exchange pieces.
