French curves are derived from the shaped segments of the Euler spiral. My interest in all things mathematical fuelled the desire to use French curves for the design of 'F1'. French curves create fluid, easy, smooth curvature. This fluid motion is the same feeling I get when I'm creating art that flows uninhibited from me.
