GeoPhysical

This design was inspired by a love for rock climbing. It was part of a series started in a Nancy Crow workshop; it morphed from an oriental design to a tree silhouette to this piece. Shifting the lines of the previous work created what I quickly recognized as fissures in a rock wall. As a rock climber one becomes very intimate with the rock surface; touching, always looking " seeking out the next grip to navigate the perfect ~route.
