Creativity – Shopping – Inspiration!
Our day started with wonderful presentations from Kim, owner of the Paint Spot. Some of us continued working on our sketchbooks using the provided supplies that supplemented the mini kits we all brought.

We travelled to the Emily Murphy park where we ate a boxed lunch followed by an exploration of the park to find inspiration for our sketchbook. It was very cold in the shade but warmer in the sun. We were encouraged by Kim to be creative with leaves, twigs and anything else that tickled our fancy.

Loaded onto the bus we were transported to the Paint Spot. Before we were allowed to go inside a group photo was taken. Our bus driver did the honours with the camera.

‘Narrow Works’ was beautifully displayed in their gallery. It was the debut exhibition.

This amazing art supply store had something for everyone. The line up at the till was long and worth the wait.

On the outside there were several fantastic murals painted on the side of the store.

In the evening we were all awestruck by Pat’s felted jacket presentation and the fashion show that ensued. Many ladies showed off their art felted jackets.

That’s a wrap for day two, up next day three.
Lots of great art! Looks like you are all having fun even if it was cold. Enjoy day three!
Thanks Karlie, the blog is a great reminder of what a super time this conference is!
