Three days of information overload and our brains are starting to feel the effects. A speaker from Blenderz educated us on the world problem of excess textiles. They process 3000 lbs a week of clothing.
These ladies are wearing their up-cycled clothing, look how many are into this fashion trend.
Hermina presented on the topic of felt jackets, making felt yardage and displayed several of her projects.
A very short walk from the hotel brought us to the Alberta Craft Council. We enjoyed two exhibits and shopped in their extensive store of local crafts.
In the evening we viewed samples of felting, watching a paper manipulating demonstration and tried out Sue’s pan pastels.
‘For The Birds’ is coming home to each artist, these along with the Artwork Exchange pieces were collected at the end of the evening.
Last day of overload is coming up tomorrow.
