Conference Day Two – Friday 21 August
As promised here are images of some of the work in the ‘Flames, Charred Regrown’ exhibit.

Johanna Tiemessen, the Manager of Arts Programming and Traditional Economy spoke to us about the Versatility and Luxury of Northern Materials. She had many samples of different fur for us to touch and feel.

Sue Gardner presented about the ‘Creative Process Renewal: Beyond Hacks and Habits’. (Sorry Sue no photo)
‘Shibori Dyeing’ by Donna MacDonald was a presentation full of beautiful samples of her work.

Legislative Assembly Tour included the amazing architecture of the building and tons of wonderful artwork all presented by a very knowledgeable tour guide.

The Prince of Wales Museum held so many historical artifacts to view.

Our evening was spent with Amanda Baton and her wicked sense of humour. She taught us how to make Caribou Tufted Earrings. Not many of us finished before the end of the evening, hehe.

Every spare minute we worked on our felt covered books, here they are in progress, most not finished yet, and many not included here.

Our art exchange is tomorrow, here is a sneak peak of those.

Whew what a busy day.
You are really capturing each day beautifully!
