Our Beloved Golden Retriever, Ben. I was introduced to fabric collage art when taking a  course with Susan Carlson. The instructor is more interpretation while creating a whimsy art product. I was intrigued with the abililty to achieve realism, when later I was working on the process of creating Ben.  I spent months finding the right tones and shades, even using my own dyed fabrics in places. After the fabric was layed,  I was on to playing with lots of thread. I never counted the thread changes, but there was many. Ben was juried into the 2015 CQA National Show and received a Judges Choice.
