A British Columbia cedar forest draws us into its mysterious depths.  The path is blocked by a fallen tree, but we persist.

Tree trunks and the foreground stump are dimensional, as are many of the branches and leaves that hang from the surface.  The thread-lace cedar leaves & ferns stay green forever in this quilt.
