Nan Williams

While researching ammonites, I learned that as their extinction progressed, the iconic spiral shape started to unfurl. To date, no one knows why this unfurling happened or if it contributed to their extinction. In "Beginning of the End?", I have tried to represent the start of this unfurling process.
