The peeling layers of paint, crumbling stucco and repairs are very rich in texture and reveal the story of the building’s journey through time. Doors entice you to enter and imagine more about the lives lived there. They also invite you into a new way of being and a sense of wondering. Standing on the threshold we’re neither here nor there but in that creative space between.

Materials: Photos printed on fabric, floating frame

Techniques: Quilted photos on fabric stretched on artist’s canvas frame, mounted in a floating frame
