I was always fascinated by the rock formations of slot canyons in photographs, posters, and quilts. During my visit I was even more thrilled y the unexpected sounds of music. The notes echoed off the walls, appearing and disappearing...then there he was, the Navajo flute player, leaning casually against the wall.
