Friendships can be easy, uplifting and invigorating, or they can take a great deal of time, effort and energy. Either way, we cannot live without healthy friendships. After seemingly endless pandemic-induced isolation, this artwork is a poignant reminder of the gift we have in each other.

This artwork was one of five created for the Alberta Foundation for the Arts Travelling Exhibition (TREX), Ties That Bind, which toured Alberta 2016-18 and was enjoyed by approximately 60,000 viewers.
