Great Blue Herons were regular visitors to the marsh area near our home at Long Point on Lake Erie. This wall hanging started in a workshop with Liz Faminoff, who designed the pattern. It was a challenge to select a suitable background and just the right fabric for the shading of the heron feathers and for the rocks and bullrushes in the foreground.
