I love to create art pieces that are playful. What is more playful than a funny face, reminiscent of a childhood drawing? I collaged fabric flowers to create her hairdo and used various other colourful fabrics to make her come alive. I stitched with black thread, using a "scribbly" approach which resembles marks that would be made if you were scribbling with a pen to outline the shapes.
